My daughter has Asberger’s and Bipolar Disorder. She is almost 18 and getting ready to graduate. Her disability has caused her to get bullied by other girls at her school. Our child only knew that she could not take being teased by one particular girl anymore, and did something at school because of this bad treatment. The school did not give her a chance to talk at all about why she did what she did and simply told her “you’re expelled.”
I was lucky enough to have someone give me Carla Leader’s number. I told her about our problem and she immediately started working to help us. This is one of the only people who cared enough to take care of our daughter’s needs. I thank Carla Leader for being our “Earthly Angel.”
